Wai Ariki Shake Out Run

Kick off your Run the Forest weekend with good energy, good people, and a whole lot of fun. The Wai Ariki Shake Out Run is a free 2.5km fun run designed to get your legs moving and your vibes HIGH before race day. This event is for everyone runners, supporters, family, or anyone who missed out on an entry to Run the Forest but still wants in on the action.

Start & sign-in: Wai Ariki Hot Springs & Spa
Sign-in opens: 3:15PM
Run starts: 4:00PM sharp

Once you’ve finished, stroll down the road and join us at the Run the Forest Registration Expo at the Sir Howard Morrison Centre to grab your check-in pack.

No entry needed – just show up, sign in, and shake it out.
