Standing together for breast cancer awareness
Warm mineral waters and hues of pink – October at Wai Ariki Hot Springs and Spa provided relaxation and hope for Rotorua locals affected by breast cancer.
Wai Ariki joined forces with the Rotorua Breast Cancer Trust in October for the second annual ‘Bathe for Pink’ fundraiser, a heartfelt initiative inviting breast cancer survivors to enjoy complimentary bathing in Wai Ariki’s renowned mineral waters.
For every Bathe for Pink private pool booking, $5 was donated to the Trust to help provide practical assistance and emotional support for women in need.
Debbie Robertson, General Manager at Wai Ariki, shared why the partnership matters:
“We are a wāhine-strong team here at Wai Ariki and breast cancer awareness is deeply personal for us. Many of us have family members who have faced their own battle with breast cancer.”
The Rotorua Breast Cancer Trust works tirelessly to ensure no one faces this journey alone. At Wai Ariki, the team are honoured to play a part in making that journey a little easier by standing alongside the local community.
Wai Ariki proudly offer care through wellness and create a future where every woman feels supported.
“Ngā mihi nui to everyone who joined us and supported this cause. Your generosity makes a real difference,” Debbie concluded.
